A/Bb and C clarinet

Most clarinet accessories fit both the German, Böhm, and Reform Böhm clarinets. However, this is not the case with mouthpieces and reeds.

French system
Usually, B clarinet mouthpieces and reeds can also be used for:
1.C, B, A, G clarinet,
2.the basset clarinet, also known as the Mozart clarinet, and finally a few single pieces
3.Small-bore basset horns.

German or Böhm system
French and German mouthpieces as well as reeds, however, differ significantly! All German variants are significantly smaller. In addition, German clarinets may also need special mouthpieces for the C clarinet.
Due to the different sizes of the reeds, some reeds can be used on different instruments. This might be helpful in case you have problems finding the ones you need or to try different combinations:

1. French Eb reeds fit German Bb clarinet mouthpieces
2. German cut reeds fit onto French Eb mouthpieces
3. French Alto clarinet reeds fit on Alto saxophone mouthpieces
4. Alto Saxophone reeds fit onto French Alto clarinet mouthpieces
5. French Bass clarinet reeds fit onto Tenor sax mouthpieces
6. Tenor sax reeds fit onto French Bass clarinet mouthpieces.
