About the model
An instrument for which the quality of the sound is premium: round, homogeneous, without aggressiveness. The Selmer Paris E-flat RECITAL is designed to closely follow the continuity of the clarinet family. The instrument fits into orchestras very well, making it possible to reach dynamic levels balanced out with other instruments of the music desk.

Lohff & Pfeiffer comments to the model
The Selmer- Paris Recital Eb is a remarkably good instrument and one of our favorites. The typical thicker body wall, and it’s 14,35mm bore enhances the warm and full sound. The body is in two parts like on the A and Bb in the top- and lower joint. The connecting tenon has a metal tenon for better stability.

The Selmer Recital Eb is the only Eb available in 2 different pitches: 440Hz as well as in 442Hz. The scale is very even on both.

The body is made from aged African blackwood.

The mechanic is made from nickel-silver and then silver-pated. It is one of the few Eb-clarinets which also has an additional left-hand C/F lever.

The thumb-rest is adjustable
